2008 OUTSTANDING PAPER OF THE BIENNIUM

fAriel Knafo, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel

Dr. Knafo's paper, entitled Parental Discipline and Affection and Children’s Prosocial Behavior: Genetic and Environmental Links, co-authored with Robert Plomin of King’s College London, England, was published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, 2006, Vol. 90, No. 1, 147–164.   Formal presentation of a US $1,000 award was made to Dr. Knafo at the 2008 2nd International Congress on Interpersonal Acceptance and Rejection in Rethymno, Crete, Greece.  Dr. Knafo gave a plenary address on his work at the Congress.
